The Going 4WD Team

Ian Johnston
Producer \ Director

Ian has been offroading for over 20 years mainly as a passenger \ navigator in old Landys & FJ55's etc. He has a full time job plus his pet hobby of filming 4wd trips & producing Going 4WD which takes up all his spare time. Ian's favourite area for 4 wheeling is the Victorian High Country from Walhalla to the NSW Border.

You can see Ian driving around Melbourne most days and if you see him on the road, in the bush or hear him on the radio, come and say G'day. He's always ready to have a chat.

Craig Johnston
Film Crew

C J started 4 wheeling in a Mazda B series 2600 during the 80's. He has had a 60 Series Landcruiser with numerous mods but unfortunately had an accident and wrote the old girl off. he now owns a vehicle with an identity problem, a Nissan, Maverick or as the badge on the grille says "Kenworth". Personally I think his truck is a Macca's fourby..... when it grows up.... It wants to be "A Big Mac". Do you want fries with that?

Axel alias Captain Mud has been 4wding on and off for around 20 years, but has only really been serious for the last 9 years. He has had experience filming various 4wd events and competitions, but felt that the recreational side of 4wding was more rewarding. Cpt. Mud's ride is a 93 GXL automatic Landcruisrer, which he has built to be an offroad tourer. In the past he has owned a series 1 Landrover and a short wheelbase Patrol (without an identity problem).
